Eutrochium maculatum – Joe Pye Weed

This tall, majestic native is a pollinator magnet and an anchor plant for naturalized spaces. With rich lavender-pink flower clusters and sturdy stems, Joe Pye Weed is a favorite for bees and butterflies from midsummer into fall. Native to Connecticut and grown from local seed, this ecotype is genetically adapted to bloom when local insect life depends on it.

Best planted in moist soil, rain gardens, or the back of a mixed perennial border where it can grow tall and lush without fuss.
