🌿 Salvia ‘Black & Bloom’
If you’ve planted this before, you already know.
Deep blue flowers on near-black stems, blooming nonstop from summer into fall. It’s one of those plants that just holds up—heat, humidity, long days—it doesn’t slow down.
And once it’s in your garden, pollinators find it quickly. Hummingbirds, butterflies, bees—it becomes one of the most active spots in the yard. 🐦🦋🐝
🌸 Why it works:
• Deer resistant
• Long bloom season from late spring through fall
• Handles heat and summer conditions well
• Easy to grow, low maintenance
• Strong draw for hummingbirds and butterflies
🌞 Where to use it:
Full sun is best. Works well in beds, larger containers, or anywhere you want reliable color without having to think about it. Grows to 3-4ft tall.
💧 Care:
Water when the soil dries out. That’s about it. Once established, it’s pretty forgiving.
🚨 Heads up:
This is one people come back for. If you want it, it’s worth locking in early.
