- When: Plant in late autumn after the first frost, but before the ground freezes.
- How: Plant cloves pointed-end up, 2" deep and 6" apart.
- Care: Plant in full sun, cover with 3–4 inches of straw mulch for winter, and harvest in mid-summer.
