New England Aster (Symphyotrichum Novae-Angliae)
New England Aster is a standout fall bloomer, producing vibrant purple-pink, daisy-like flowers with bright yellow centers. Its upright, clumping habit makes it perfect for sunny borders, meadows, and pollinator plantings. Blooming when many other plants are fading, it provides an essential late-season nectar source for native pollinators and brings the garden to life just when it’s needed most.
This locally sourced Connecticut native ecotype is grown from seed collected right here in the region.
