Plant Stylist – Container Garden Designer

Job Summary
The Plant Stylist – Container Garden Designer is responsible for designing and managing our custom seasonal container program. This role requires creativity, organizational skills, and the ability to work directly with customers to bring their vision to life. You will manage the entire process from consultation and design to installation and maintenance. When not working on installations, you will support daily garden center operations.
Key Responsibilities
Container Design & Installation
Design and install custom seasonal container gardens for residential and commercial clients.
Provide expert recommendations to enhance customers’ spaces through thoughtful plant selections.
Develop signature seasonal plant combinations to attract repeat customers.
Maintain and manage container garden subscriptions for returning clients.
Project & Team Management
Organize and oversee multiple installations at once, ensuring efficiency and quality.
Lead installation crews, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Track budgets and pricing to ensure the profitability of the department.
Maintain inventory and coordinate orders for plant materials and supplies.
Seek out new customers and expand the container garden service.
Garden Center Support
Assist customers with selecting plants and garden products.
Support merchandising efforts and contribute to store displays.
Care for plants, ensuring they remain healthy and well-maintained.
Collaborate with the team to support daily operations.
Qualifications
Creative & Detail-Oriented: A strong eye for design and ability to arrange plants beautifully.
Customer-Focused: Passion for engaging with clients and helping them bring their vision to life.
Highly Organized & Independent: Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
Leadership Skills: Experience directing a team and overseeing installations.
Hands-On & Hardworking: Comfortable working outdoors, lifting heavy materials, and handling physical tasks.
Tech & Data Savvy: Ability to track sales, manage inventory, and analyze profitability.
Availability to Work Saturdays during peak seasons.
