Job Description
Are you ready to connect people with experiences that inspire joy and creativity? As our Marketing & Experience Director, you’ll drive and execute a bold omnichannel marketing strategy that seamlessly integrates our digital presence with the magic of our in-store offerings.
From digital campaigns to in-store promotions, you’ll create meaningful customer connections and ensure our brand shines across all platforms. This hands-on role blends strategy with action—you’ll help craft creative campaigns, lead engaging events, and directly shape the customer experience.
Your role will include:
- Designing engaging email, SMS, and social media campaigns
- Developing in-store displays and promotions that captivate customers
- Brainstorming and executing events and workshops that bring our brand to life
- Tracking campaign performance and refining strategies for even greater success
We’re not just selling products—we’re building a passionate gardening community. Whether it’s creating holiday workshops, snapping photos of new arrivals, or analyzing data, your work will inspire customers and grow our garden center’s impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Omnichannel Campaigns: Lead omnichannel marketing campaigns across social media, email, SMS, and in-store promotions to keep our brand fresh and engaging.
- Marketing Calendar Oversight: Coordinate the marketing calendar for efficient campaign rollouts and ensure a balanced mix of digital and in-store experiences.
- Product Launches: Collaborate with the team to select products and create compelling content that aligns with our brand and drives customer demand.
- Budget Management & Trend Research: Manage marketing budgets effectively and stay informed about industry trends to develop innovative strategies.
- Fulfillment Coordination: Oversee the in-store pickup experience for pre-ordered products, ensuring a smooth process that encourages repeat visits and engagement.
- Brand Voice Management: Ensure consistency across all marketing channels, from digital copy to in-store signage.
- Customer Engagement: Cultivate customer connections through social media, in-store events, and digital platforms, gathering feedback to improve offerings.
- Content Creation: Lead content creation for social media, email, SMS campaigns, and website updates, building community and driving sales through storytelling.
- Campaign Analysis: Track and analyze the success of marketing campaigns, using data to refine strategies for greater results.
- Event Leadership: Brainstorm and execute in-store events that engage customers, boost foot traffic, and showcase our products.
Qualifications:
- Three years of marketing or communications experience, focusing on omnichannel strategies in retail or e-commerce
- Team player with strong communication, creativity, analytical skills, and a leadership mindset
- Experience managing marketing budgets and researching industry trends to inform strategies
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to new challenges
- Detail-oriented with a passion for connecting customers to experiences
- Familiarity with creative design software and email marketing platforms
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Eye for design, crafting engaging visuals, and creating cohesive campaigns
- Skilled in writing responsive, engaging copy for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated success in crafting and analyzing impactful email marketing campaigns
- Bonus: Graphic design and video-editing skills, plant knowledge, or experience with AI tools
- Website management experience is a significant plus
